A Hereford Beefstouw in Gothenburg has a classic and very stylish interior. The big traditional grill is situated in the open so the guests can closely observe the chefs at work. Along with the well-stocked salad bar offering more than 30 different ingredients, the kitchen is a cozy and lively part of the restaurant.
Design and art have a high priority in Gothenburg. The massive tables are made from African oak, which takes well to the hot iron plates. The floorboards are Douglas Pine. Hans J. Wegner designed the chairs while our own interior architect arranged the restaurant.
The Gothenburg restaurant also has the classic A Hereford Beefstouw decanting device, which oxidises and aerates the wine as it passes through a long, transparent acrylic tube.
